Hermann Mo Wineries

May 3rd, 2010

As one of the premiere destinations in the state for wine, Hermann, MO is home to many of the top wine producers in the state. In the center of the Missouri Rhineland and just south of the Missouri River, Hermann’s rich German heritage can be felt throughout the town and leads the state not only in wine history, but also in sausage (a perfect pair for many of the wines produced here). Hermann not only hosts Stone Hill Winery, the largest winery in Missouri, but also many festivals including Maifest and Oktoberfest. Visitors can stay at many of the locale bed & breakfasts and take tours of the historic wineries that contribute to America’s high quality wine production.
