As one of Missouri’s earliest wine producers, Hermannhof Winery continues its tradition of producing fine wines in the Missouri Rhine Land. With its beginnings in the mid 1800s, Hermannhof Winery became one of the top wine producers in Missouri until prohibition forced its doors to close. In 1974, the estate was purchased by the Dierberg family and has now become one of Missouri’s top wineries.

Visitors can tour the historic wine cellars and building (both are on the National Register for Historic Places) and sip of some of their award winning wines. Guests are also encouraged to try some of the delicious home-made German sausages and relax in their exquisite surroundings. Hermannhof Winery also hosts corporate events, weddings, and overnight guests at their inn located on the property.
