Just like the parent winery in Hermann, Missouri, Stone Hill Winery’s New Florence location offers the same award winning wines and juices available at the other two facilities. However, New Florence offers an additional glimpse into 18th century French champagne making called Methode Champenoise. A special process takes place with a particular type of wine known as “cuvee.” After the ingredients are mixed and go through a complex fermentation process wherein the bottles must remain undisturbed for up to one year. All the time spent mixing, bottling, and waiting pays off with an exquisite glass of the famous French beverage.
