Bynum Winery

December 29th, 2009

The Bynum family were some of the first settlers to put down roots in the area which is now known as Lone Jack, Missouri in 1836. Taking the cues from his famous whiskey maker great, great-uncle, George Shawhan, Mr. Bynum started the Bynum Winery in 1989. Located three miles east of Lone Jack at the intersection of 50 highway and Sam Moore Road, the Bynum Winery is expected to develop 30 acres for their rich selection of grapes. The Bynum Winery currently produces various red, white, and fruit wines on their beautiful country estate just outside of Kansas City.
