Mount Pleasant Winery (Branson)

April 15th, 2010

Located just down the street from the Moon River Theatre and a short distance from Branson’s famous roadway known as “the strip,” is Mount Pleasant Winery’s 9,200 square-foot southwest location. Visitors are invited to sit back and relax with a glass of delicious Mount Pleasant wine or bottle their own wine with a specially designed 600-gallon French oak barrel. One of the winery’s most fascinating characteristics is the interior design, which has 30-foot ceilings in a ledgestone building with timber wood and stone columns. It was the winner of 417 Magazine’s 2008 Interior Design of the Year award.

At its Augusta location, Mount Pleasant grows twelve varieties of grapes that have won numerous awards and have been shipped all over the world. Mount Pleasant owns all of its vineyards and grows it’s grapes locally. Wines are bottled in Augusta and shipped to the Branson location with Branson receiving two exclusive sweet varieties.
