Hoping to provide a casual, unintimidating atmosphere for customers who enjoy a good glass of wine, owners Chris and Jen started West Winery in Macon, Missouri in August 2007. The facility features a renovated 1800s tasting room with indoor seating that overlooks the winemaking complex. The winery has an assortment of dry, sweet, and spiced fruit wines. Guests are invited to bring picnics (no outside alcohol) or snack on a selection of sausage and cheese baskets. Winemaking kits, supplies, and advice is also available for those interested.
