The Yellow Farmhouse Winery, located west of St. Louis in Defiance, MO is an established winery with its first vintage produced in 2006. The laidback atmosphere of the town transfers to the winery that sits high above it overlooking the valley and river below. With a specialty for the Missouri’s state grape, Norton, Yellow Farmhouse focuses on providing the highest quality, not quantity, of wines. Guests are invited to try a sample of wines available for purchase in the newly opened tasting room. A gift shop is available for those wanting to create a sampler or browse for other wine related items. Picnics and coolers are welcome on the grounds (no outside alcohol) as well.
